Rankled about Jai needing to wed Swapna, Nithya calls Chandrika, who gets terrified. Feeling gallant, a presumptuous Prasad answers her call and talks pompously. As he cuts the call, Chandrika gets dazed to see his changed disposition.

Then, a distraught Chari will not let Jai wed Swapna and blows up as ACP Ilayaraja compliments Jai. Ilayaraja and Jai educate Chari concerning their arrangement to make questions between Prasad, Chandrika and Nithya to discover where Manga is.

Jai guarantees Chari that he won’t ever desert Manga and requests that he imagine that he doesn’t think about the arrangement.
